Research at BREATH

In the COPD research field, BREATH offers a wide range of expertise both in the field of radiology and in microscopy with regard to imaging of the lungs for preclinical and clinical issues. At the MHH, microscopy-based image processing tools have been established for quantitative analysis of the lung morphology, with particular emphasis on design-based stereological procedures.

In addition, the BREATH researchers contribute their vast experience from previous clinical Phase I/II studies.
